Through my lens, the Legends Chicago Festival came alive through powerful performances, vibrant fashion, genuine emotion, and the energy of the crowd. I focused on capturing authentic moments that tell the story of the festival and what it felt like to be there. 

Dj Envy and Dj Drama kept the energy high throughout the day. 2 Chainz opened the show and, despite having another performance in a different state later that night, still brought plenty of energy to the stage. Fabolous came through rocking a D. Rose jersey and delivered a solid performance. The LOX reminded everyone why they’re arguably the best three-man group in hip-hop history! As for me, my feet eventually decided the festival was over before Busta Rhymes could hit the stage—so I had to call it a day!

  Next year, I’m coming prepared! I’ll get there early, bring a lightweight chair, and—most importantly—eat before I arrive. It was a vegan event, and apparently my stomach didn’t get the memo!
