Experiencing Boston during the winter months was definitely a unique experience—and cold would be an understatement!

Exploring the city meant walking through beautiful, historic streets and visiting some incredible landmarks, but the weather certainly made the adventure a little more challenging. The combination of freezing temperatures and strong winds had a way of turning even the simplest tasks into an endurance test. At times, just getting from one place to another felt like an accomplishment!

During our short weekend visit, we also happened to come across a “No Kings” protest taking place in the city. Regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, it was hard not to respect the determination of the people who came out and participated despite the cold and windy conditions.

Despite the weather, Boston still left a lasting impression. I enjoyed taking in the city's rich history, exploring its historic sites, and, of course, sampling plenty of seafood at the various restaurants we visited.

It may have been freezing, but Boston gave us a memorable weekend filled with history, culture, great food, and plenty of photo opportunities. Sometimes, you just have to bundle up and make the most of the journey!
